Faulty sensor?

I recently bought a 2011 R55 as a project car though it it runs well. It’s a high mileage car but has had a lot of work done. I decided to setup a BimmerLink dashboard to monitor a few sensors and I am getting a reading on what is called the Battery Load sensor of 43% all of the time. I suspect it’s a false reading but don’t know which/where

the sensor is which gives this reading. My R55 is a non IBS car as I thought that may be the issue, but unfortunately not. Appreciate any thoughts.

How old is the battery? If old, you might want to load test the battery to assess its health.

AI answer:
BimmerLink reads battery health on your non-IBS 2011 R55 Mini by interpreting data from the Engine Control Unit (DME), specifically voltage and current flow, to estimate State of Charge (SoC) and overall battery condition, rather than relying on a direct current shunt; it calculates load by monitoring how the car's electronics (lights, fans, modules) draw power and correlate that with voltage drops to assess battery capacity and alternator output, telling you if the battery can handle the demands.
