Axxess Chime Retention

I've had my aftermarket headunit in my car for a while now, but only recently the chime retention module i've been using has been bugging me.
The chime it makes is muffled and sounds low quality, way worse than oem chime through the stock radio. I'm wondering if I can make something better with an arduino or something so I get an oem like chime back through my speakers instead of the dinky little one in the axxess decoder box. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas / experience with this.

Only the funky sounding one that the head unit had with it. If you figure it out, I would love to change mine. I am accustomed to it now. The one thing that still gets me wondering is the turn signal noise. The normal sound is at a steady pace, the head unit sound takes a pause now and then.

I emailed the people at metra and they told me it can't be changed, which I don't believe but whatever. Not really worth the hassle of disassembling it to see if I can change anything
