Has anyone replaced their oem hu (not hk) with an Alpine 9847? Did it drive the standard speakers to your satisfaction or did you replace them too? Some think that rather than replacing the oem speakers, go with an h/u like the 9847 that puts out 4x18 w and I might be able to stop right there.

i got a 9843, and so far unless i REALLY crank up the bass i feel the oem speakers do a good enough job.. although im starting to wish i have the digital sound modul speakers
