Boost Controller suggestions?

Hello there.
I'm looking for a BC for the babe.BC must be able to be tuned BY GEAR.
From my research the only available boost controllers out there with boost by gear are the following.

iBoost
Plex Tuning ( PBC)
Greddy Profec
Cortex

Is anyone aware of any other BC available with boost by gear?

If you know another one please mention...Also if you have to say anything about those a mention that will help me choose one, Please be my guest and do it :D

Thank you for you time.

I see in your signature that you have a tune from Prototype-R? Have you asked Lou if he can add boost by gear? That would be your easiest route...

Yup he can make it.:D
I've talked with Lou since after all this talk i consider Lou as my friend. He have discussed about it however a 3rd eye(like you for instance ) might give me an idea or some unit that im not aware of it.

For example Loy didnt know about iBoost and i didnt know about Cortex, so "you" might know something that none of us know.

PS:Lou is hell of a guy and knows almost everything however i cant put Lou in a situation searching for my ***!!:D

Lou is a great guy, and an excellent tuner. He calibrated my Stage 2 tune.

I think you don't see many boost controllers on the R56 platform because of the factory boost control method. Not many turbo cars use vacuum as a means of closing the wastegate. Usually, you see the opposite - boost to open the wastegate. I think to get a boost controller working on the Mini, you'd have to find a boost solenoid that works with vacuum...

Just chiming in to say Lou is amazing.
In my profession, I am hesitant to refer to someone as a "subject matter expert". There is no doubt in my mind that Lou is a subject matter expert. His knowledge and professionalism are beyond reproach.

Exactly like that mate.
I mean... Its very hard for me to hear something from a stranger or even people that i know and filter nothing....And i do that with Lou.Its like each time we talk i know that if i asked him ANYTHING he ALWAYS got the answer and much more.. But even above his great professionalism and tons of knowledge of automotive(he understand the whole picture of it)...He is a GREAT man-human. Just couple of times that ive seen his face smiling...!
Cheers for @Lou@Prototype-R !!!

Thank brother for being there for me and the rest of us.!!

Is Lou going to add boost by gear to your tune? I should send him a note to see if he can do it for my car…

So im posting this so anyone that might try find a boost controller will be helped(hopefully)

I end up my mind going with Sirch Labs: Cortex BC.

What ive learn from searching..

The BCs are many out there however those that are able to be configured by gear are the following.

iBoost:
Easy to setup
plenty of features
medium quality
designed last 3-4 years or something
Average Price

Plex PBC:
Hard to install
plenty of features
high quality
designed years ago and i consider to be outdated(the will release i newer version with new design etc probably by the end of this year on first 3months of 2023).
Expensive

Cortex: Easiest and more clear method to setup with laptop and easy software
plenty of features
medium/high quality designed years ago as well.
Cheap

Greddy Profec:
I think is hard to setup
Less features than all the rest
High quality
Expensive

The reason i have choose Cortex is because i consider that is more appeal for my application because..
Seems to be the easiest and more programmable on each parameter compared with others, my tuner use it to and is the only one that has a small gauge 52mm which i am able to put it on a small vent rather than having it exposed.OEM looking/hidden.
When Plex release their new BC is something i will definitely consider to change but that about 1 year from now and i need BC now.
Greddy is the most fancy among other and you cant hide it with that shape + one common problem is also that the screen and rest leds are too bright.

Cheers guys!
