can a boost controller be used with a tc setup to limit boost to safe wot for a extended peroid of time? i think this would make a tc setup worth doing.

Sure it can, unfortunately unless you change to a bigger pulley, going TC will start you off at about 21-22 lbs of boost... So w/o a way of getting the supercharger produce a lower boost, you're pretty much at the "boundary". With the bigger pulley you will have a lower starting boost , (let's say 17-18 lbs), then just increase the boost w/ the boost controller..

If you can get Garret or whomever and convince them to create a WG Can of 4lbs is another way of having a lower boost. Final option is to just modify and put an external wastegate since I've seen these go low = 3lbs of boost.

Haa Haa.. You can actually buy a lighter spring/diaphragm for your internal wastegate, and use your boost controller to limit a smaller amount of psi..
