First post here.

I have done a search for my question but everything I have encountered relates to retrofitting heated seats which is not my issue.

My R53 Cooper S comes with heated seats but the wires have broke, and im having difficulty trying to a) find the OEM wires / pin, b) knowing what gauge wire to buy if I cannot get them directly from BMW.

I am aware of the retrofit cable set (61-12-0-144-084) (https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...1-12-0-144-084) which does contain all the cables needed but is overkill for what I actually need and I would scrap the remainder.

I have also been looking at "MINI R53 Cooper S Pin contacts ELO" (https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=61_1692) but I find it hard to determine which, if any of those are the correct cables I need?

I need the brown, green and green/white wires.

Any advice? Thanks in advance.

 

I would just solder it back together or use crimp connectors.
