Where does this connector plug into???

I'm making some progress in getting the dead engine out of the car and swapping in the new engine......I got the header loose and found this rather large connector down under the header on top of the starter heat shield.......

What is it for and where does it plug into?? Vehicle is a '06 R52 MCS JCW car.....I have the same connector on the wire harness that I got with the wrecking yard motor also......looks like the other ends of those two rather large wires go under the under-hood fuse box......I'm just wondering what and where the end goes that I have in my hand

Didn't we decide that was for the stock JCW airbox?

No, that was this little connector up by the cowl close to the air cleaner.....picture below of the connector that we talked about before....

This new connector has what appears to be #10ga wires in it....

It goes on top of the power steering pump. May be hard to see if you've got your subframe fully installed. You should be able to fit it by feel though.

Ah, perfect.....found where it plugs into....looks like the connection terminals are a little bent up, probably from the previous people removing & replacing the engine assembly and not knowing what they were doing......once I get this drivetrain out, I'll take a pair of needle nose pliers and straighten out the terminals so the connector goes back on

Thanks

Looks like the plug housing which keeps it locked in and dirt and moisture out is broken off of the pump

Yea, there is something down there......will have to figure out a way to make the plug stay on, or possibly find this plug housing that you speak of.....I got no clue what it looks like, or even where to find one......whatever I have left is on the PS pump down there......

Just another item to find or fix on this car that I have dubbed "The Mini From Hell"
