CEL/Limp Mode with JB4 map 1?
Hi all,
I recently picked up a 2014 F56 Cooper S and bought a JB4 from someone on the marketplace.
I love map 1 on the JB4, but whenever I drive hard for a little while in map 1, it inevitably will throw a CEL the next time I'm in the car.
After reading the error codes it always seems to be related to the following:
121201 TMAP Signal Active with engine off
Every other time it will also throw:
121532 boost pressure sensor, plausibility: Pressure upstream from throttle at motor stand
120408 Reduced power mode
The reduced power mode also throws a warning on my central instrument panel that says drivetrain malfunction.
Has anyone experienced this before? The JB4 is the only mod I have so I'm sure it's something attributed to that. I tried to research this and did notice was that there's a difference between JB4 units that are built for production models after 12/14 whereas mine was built around 10/14. Is there a way to check which production series my JB4 was meant for?
I tried to update the firmware and app software but it still doesn't seem to solve the problem.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
