Installing Pulsing 3rd Brake Light

Somewhere someone posted a couple of great photos of the wiring for a 3rd Brake Light Pulsar that involved entering the panel behind the drive. I thought I'd saved the location and the photos, but I cannot locate either. A bit of help since I don't want to come in on the hatch door.

Found my next mod! I wasn't sure how to remove the trim piece covering the 3rd brake light -- and didn't want to break anything on my brand-new car! -- but the pictures in the thread referenced above show that it's very simple.

In July, I'm planning to drive my MINI from southern NJ to the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY, which often involves a lot of heavy traffic on route 287 and parts of 87. Having the Pulsar will make me feel a little more secure about driving this tiny car in that kind of traffic!

Help for Clubman

Help, help. All the photos and instructions are for "Just a Cooper" with the hatchback.

I want to put a Pulsing brake light on my Clubman with the barn doors. The 3rd brake light is different and includes nozzles for window washer fluid and the 3rd brake light component wraps around to the side of the car.

The instructions that came with the Pulsar and the photos here only address a hatchback.

Did you figure it out yet? I saw you had a few posts all over yesterday.

Remove 8 screws (T25 I think) and there are just tow wires you need to cut and add the Pulsar into. The brown is ground or neutral (black wire. The yellow is positive and goes to the red.
