D1 spec Throttle connector

I bought a D1 Spec 7 booster and the throttle connectors won't mate up. I read thru thread and they talk about using a Dremel tool to modify connector but I don't understand what they cut..Anyone have pics? My eyes aren't great anymore and having trouble seeing what to cut inside . tks

I am curious as to where you have purchased yours. I see some posts that their was no modification needed. Apparently the first ones produced for the MINI had the problem you are experiencing, but then there was a revision and the problem was corrected. Is it possible that you have gotten one of the early ones? I am thinking of this mod and would like to get one without the needed alteration although it seems pretty simple.
So far I only know of two places to purchase these. There is one on E-bay which seems like the lowest price and it comes from Japan I think. The other is Greasy's Garage, but he wants $170 shipped.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks, Steve

Yeah!!

Ok..got power today. I must not have had OBD connector tight, had to really squeeze. Just drove 3 or 4 miles. SP 6 or SP7 seems like good starting point. This product is great...can't wait till my son drives this..it will knock his socks off!!
