Does anyone know if The R56 base Classic's have the same computer options as a regular Mini Cooper and they are just turned off? For example the range, average fuel economy and the instant fuel economy are missing in my cooper classic. Can I enable them with NCSExpert?

I now have my cable and am interested in these options on my 2009 Justa Classic. Do I have to adjust the VO string to change to a Cooper Hardtop to enable this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

 

Anyone with any ideas? I want to be able to see my range, ave l/100km and instant l/100km. Would work well with the "always on Speed" mod.

Was trying to see if I could unlock these features in my car rather than spending money on a Scangauge 2 but thanks for the suggestion.

 

Can anyone confirm if this is the correct code "$550" to add to the VO to enable the OBC (One Board Computer)?

 

In Europe the OBC is an extra option, which costs about 120 euros when you order the car..

I've read the NCSExpert dummy guide and have some idea about the programing steps. Also read the changing VO guide (http://www.trevorloken.com/bmw/NCS_C..._Order_CAS.pdf) for the steps to add the $550. But not sure which "ECU" or "Module" should this $550 to be added. In the guide it is talking adding VO to ECU "CAS". For the $550 case, should I add to "CAS" or/and any ECU else?
