troubleshooting power lock system

Is it possible for the average mechanic to troubleshoot and repair/replace the power lock element in a 2002 MC. Passenger door will not unlock from the central lock switch. Thanks

Hi and welcome to NAM.

you have put this in the 2nd Gen forums and you have a 1st Gen car. You may get much better answers if you head over to the 1st Gen section.

I am not sure if this is a common problem or not but many of us here would not know as we have not had a first gen car.
