Aftermarket LED Tails

The all-clear look isn't really my thing, but this intrigued me nonetheless:

Has anyone seen these for sale anywhere online?

They look pretty good. I've been curious if anyone made these for an R56 for a while but never found any.

What's that strange pulsing of the break light? I hope it doesn't do that by default.

Price converts to ~$384.00

I'd like to know if anyone else carried these as well.

These look cool. And notice the rear fog kit. Hmmm.

I saw the rear fogs too but didn't seem to find them on the site. Those clear TLs sure do look good though. I'm hoping someone here in the states sells them.

The LED rear fogs have been around for a while. There is a thread about them but I can't find it. They are made by a Taiwanese manufacturer and appear to be high quality.

Search eBay for "cooper led rear fog".

The flashing is due to the filming affect and they do not blink or flash when you view them in person. Most LEDs will do this when filmed.

Holy Moly!!! I thought the stock 2011 rear lights were too bright! Had to tone 'em down a bit...

When there's only 3 feet of space between you and the bumper of the F150 pickup truck behind you, I'll take the brightest tails possible!

Those covers look slick, but how much do they cut down on the brightness of your taillights in the daylight? Could be a cheaper alternative to the expensive clear/LED taillights above, but I'm only curious if it blocks too much of the light.

Where did you buy yours?

Nice car BTW!

Those tail light covers would become an instant ticket here in NY.

I have the ones that I got from outmotoring....love em!

http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...r_R56_R57.html

I'll have to get a pic of them on my car. You reuse the reverse bulbs, but everything else is LED.

LED tail help?

I got a set of LED tails from outmotoring, too. problem is, they're made for Euro (i think) because the bulb was not a swap...the pins are not 180 degree, but 150 degree offset.

question1: anyone already figure out bulb model for 150 degree pins?
question2: what's it do? pictures look amber (implying turn signal), but maybe it's not?
question3: two filament or one? OBE if there's answers to 1 or 2

help, thanks.

Ummm, IDK.

I pulled my reverse bulbs I used and they are odd ones...plus I sprayed them black now that I remember/see. I didn't get them from work because there is no part number or any numbers on them whatsoever. Weird.

They are single filament and sure enough 150 degree offset.

36rodder, that's why I don't live in NY...

I had mine professionally tinted in the Savannah hood. They came out a little darker than I wanted but are still adequately visible. I've not had any problem anywhere in the south with them.

If the Outmotoring lights fit 2011+'s, I would consider swapping out.
