Plx kiwi vs scangauge for obd gauges?

Any thoughts on this choice? Seems like could buy a used ipod touch for good price and mod gauges as needed with the plx. Pretty cool options for display with various apps. Hopefully my mini will get here soon so can stop buying and start driving!

Cheers

I use the PLX. I like it because I can move it easily from vehicle to vehicle (I use it primarily on my motorcycles) and all I need is my iPhone or iPad app. For the CM, you'll want some place to mount the ipod touch so you can look at the guages, but there are some good options in the App Store.

I use the Scangauge II; very flexible and designed for the job. Many more options than just an OBD reader. Trip computer are very well done also. Fits with velcro just left of steering column/tach.
