Ok. I'm a complete noob, I'm trying to install my VIP bracket and I have to say, the included directions are utter crap. I'm about to have a nervous breakdown over a bumper nut and washer for crying out loud.

Unsure what problems you're having; I put a write-up on my blog back when I did the install and it has a few pictures, but maybe you're stuck at another part.

Yeah well now I dropped said nut and washer when trying to reattach the brackets down in to the freaking bumper. Officially in breakdown mode.

I've dropped more than enough parts into the engine bay turning a 15 minute modification into a multi-hour test to see how many curse words I can use before neighbors start making phone calls. The bumper is pretty deep, so might be easier to try and go in with a long pick-up tool/pincher.

That would be great if I could see the nut and washer. It's seems to be gone, call to the mini service center looks in my future.

The VIP brackets should've come with 2 17mm locking nuts as well as 2 T25 torx fasteners to replace the 16mm OEM ones you've dropped. Did they not?

Not sure about you but I type on the internet. No need to open my mouth. So what were you saying about putting ones brain in gear? Lol!

My post was relevant to the thread. It could be two years old what's the difference? Your comment was nothing more than snark. Totally irrelevant to the thread and against forum rules but I suppose some people just can't resist the need for attention.

So what was your reason for replying to my post again?

Me thinks someone broke their New Years resolution to "play well with others".... or didn't have one.

It wasn't intended as a 'snark' there Captain but it was intended to point out the obvious, which apparently completely eluded you.

Haha. Like me you're a little late to the party but I'm sure some NAM ninja will be along promptly to tell you how the world revolves around paying attention to date time groups.

I'm surprised you're still here at all Sean. It's barely worth it these days.

No reason to lock. No one called anyone any bad names..... Unless Captain is a bad word. Lol

Always fun to see dramatic threads. It is all in good fun.

But yeah, back on topic. I want Highh power LED driving lights. Would some Rigid Industries SRM or SRQ lights look stupid on some VIP mounts?
