Hey guys, just wanted to show off my latest mod. Changed out the LEDs on my concealed display so I can actually tell which radar bands are going off. Also changed out the LEDs on the strength meter. My setup goes like this:

Blue -Laser
Red - Ka
Yellow - K
Green - X

Green Green Yellow Yellow Yellow Red Red Red

The colored LEDs shine through the V1 sticker that's on the front of the display, but I think it looks more stealthy without it - so I removed it

From the factory the V1 has all red LEDs. But it does look like a normal V1 when it's turned off - I'll give you that.

 

Ohhhh internal changes...

 

What size/type LEDs did you use? Do you have a link to where you purchased yours? I'm interested in trying this out on my own. I can't find the specific LEDs needed online.

 

I was considering doing this mod. One thing I have concerns about is the front sticker which is red. If I keep that on it might change the color of the LEDs I've changed. I'm also worried about the brightness of the new LEDs, I don't want to create another problem with a too bright display.
