I ditched my parking lights

Been meaning to do this for a while. I always thought they were an eyesore. I couldn't get any frontal shots since it was daytime when I took the photos, but it looks so much cleaner at night. Oh, and of course no "bulb out" warning.

I didn't get it either. He removed his parking bulbs and replaced them with resistors?

Not sure about NY state but in MA and many other states the parking lights are required. If they are not there it will not pass inspection.

I will agree that the yellowish color of them doew not look good but they can be replaced by whiter bulbs.

Ahh, from looking at it more it sounds like he totally removed the parking light bulbs and replaced them with resistors. The headlights are on but the parking lights aren't.

IMO it looks sweet but in my case it would make the lenses useless because I don't have the fogs.

I replaced the bulbs with resistors. The reason I did it is because I just hate the way it looks, especially now that I have the foglights tinted yellow.

I have a 5000K kit in the fogs which produces an intense yellow light when they're on. I eventually plan to do a projector retrofit in there because I get a bunch of glare, so removing the driving light was the first step.

the bulb you removed is an h3 correct? what if you have hids in there as well as in the fogs? wonder how that would work out?

I'm considering these LEDs for the parking/city lights to color match the Xenon headlights: http://www.hoen-usa.com/city.htm

Has anyone tried them?

Got em and they work great. No warning light. The only oddity is that they blink two or three times (occasionally) when I first start the car.

Just ordered these. I already have the HOEN driving light bulbs so everything should match in the front.

I would love to see pics of these HOEN dLEDs. If they look like the photos on the HOEN website (of the 99) I will definitely be ordering. Any of you guys take any pics yet?
