Replacement Antenna

I'm looking for a new antenna that doesn't make my car look like it's a large remote controlled vehicle. I'm looking at some shorty antenna's but wanted to get other people's opinions on what they've used/seen and how it affected functionality (not that I use the radio alot, but still).

I know there is an old thread on this but I wanted to find out what might be new. Oh also I want one that's shorter; think the stock antenna without the metal twisty piece at the top. I'm not looking for the near non-existent tiny ones.

Try www.cravenspeed.com . That's where we found the stubby for BABY. Great reception as well.

I looked in your gallery but couldn't find a pic, do you have a picture of it on the Mini? I'd like to see what it looks like if you don't mind.

Thanks!

Yeah I was looking at that one. Do you have a pic of it on your car? I want to see how "short" it looks. They only have a picture of the super shorty and I don't like the 1" thing.

Here's a shot of the one I got from outmotoring about a year ago, still looks pretty much the same, and no issues with radio reception (like you I don't use it much though).

Sorry, I haven't taken a pic of it yet since I just received it yesterday and put it on. Just take my word, I'm very happy with it!

I have the Alta 2". Radio works just fine for me. So nice to see that 12" one get thrown in the trash with the used kitty litter.
