Unichip experiences - Any positive ones?

Now please dont turn this tread into a Unichip-bashing one, I know a lot of people had bad experiences with the product, specially harnesses apparently. What I am looking for is people with positive opinions about it...

Are there people out there who actually ordered/installed/enjoyed the product right out of the box or is everybody getting a headache before they get it to work?

Even though I read a lot of bashing I am still interested in the thing but I want as much info as possible before making a move. So please share your experiences here... If you had a bad one, share it, but remember not to turn this tread into another Unichip bashing tread with endless debates

Installed easily, stayed installed where put, no harness issues, I really thought I had made a great purchase.
Here is where I would get negative so my reply ends.

Well if all I can get out of this tread is one feedback that seems to have ended in a negative story... I think I get the general opinion on the product!!

Good to know, that's why i like this forum

Not sure if there were any other threads about this but wanted to add my 2c

I had issues and dealt directly with Unichip as Alta was very "not our issue"

I had the unit reprogrammed and a new harness and have used it for over 12 months without any further issues.

Boost on mine shows max 20psi compared to 15psi stock
Power is too much in the wet with my stock wheel/tire/suspension setup.

Passing power is AWESOME and really noticeable.
I just took it off 2 weeks ago (as trading in car) and almost got into trouble a few times as didn't have the power anymore .... really miss it but getting a 335i shortly and will get a piggyback for that
