Dry Battery

Is anyone out there using a dry battery in their Mini S? Seems like a reasonable mod to reduce a significant amount of weight and the danger of spilled acid in a rear end crash. Any problems with your install?

Something like an Optima Those are pretty common here. I don't think they are "dry" but are gel if I remember right. ( might be too much vino on a Sunday night though )

I love the Optima Red Top 34r that I put into Artoo. All the electrical specs are better than OEM but it is no lighter. It was a perfect fit.
