Looking For Boost Gauge

Hey Guys. I'm lookign for a boost gauge for my MCSa06. The problem is I CAN NOT use the OEM boost/batter gauge because I've got a chrono pack (two guages on the steering wheel). And, I do not want to lose the space compartment in the center console under the switch panel. Is there any other boost gauge to be mounted somewhere else??

Sure, even w/ the chrono pack you can hang a gauge off on each side. Cravenspeed makes a 1,2,3 & 4 gauge brackets. Minspeed has a budget enthusiast bracket. I actually worked w/ Peter on the design. Its a generic bracket that requires a little customization from yourself but accepts an autometer cup but any brand gauge. Considering its 16 bucks - you can play around to your hearts content and come up w/ something. I've even seen boost gauges on top / in between a chrono package.

If you look at boost gauges - just get the right scale. I'm running a 15 pulley so I got a 30 vac / 15 boost as opposed to others that might be 30 vac/ 30boost. THIS WAY you get more needle action and a better read.

heres a pic of the budget enthusiast being used

PS www.minspeed.net carries cravenspeed as well.

I bought the autometer boost gauge, but never got around to installing it yet.
It has the 30psi & vac, but I forgot what site it was on.

They say he bucket is not available!!!! How would you mount it? I do not think this alone is enough to mount the OEM guages. I guess you still need the bucket.

The bracket is just the bracket. You buy the cups separately like from summit racing. On the back of the stock gauges (chrono pack) there are screws. You need to buy a longer screw and you need to drill the bracket. YOu also need to "bend" the bracket arm to curve to the tach/speedo. I only used 1 screw and some double stick tape and its holding nicely.

Like I said its a generic bracket for the do it yourself type person. If your not this type look at cravenspeed.
