Which Apexi SAFC to get?????

The Apexi SAFC Select was designed for the European cars, but I read it has been DISCONTINUED. Which one can we use for the MINI now??? Did they make a new model for the European cars?? After going to there site, the ONLY safc controller I see now is the Apexi SAFC Neo. It states on there site it will work on Most 0-5V MAP/AFM cars. Does the MINI fall under this??
Thanks..

SAFC2 is not available anymore. The Neo is the current version. This is what I am running with the turbo. Working great.

Just be sure not to get too aggressive with it . We have a member in our local group that managed to tune himself into a new set of pistons.

oi vei.....

Yes you can use the Neo....its the same thing only with more adjustability and much better input controls. I have a new one, but I am still using the Select model due to it having a knock monitor. I will be swapping it out soon. You will need to get the pin layout of the MINI though, as the NEO doesnt have that like they did in the Select version. I have seen it on several posts here.

Trickle X, If you don't mind, can you point me to a site or post that has the pin layout?
Thanks...

I said it in the other thread where I gave the pinout, and I'll say it here. Someone on this site has to be smart enough to save this somewhere readily accessible, cause I'm sure I won't see every thread there is that mentions the AFC.

Apexi SAFC Neo.

This is cool. With the device, an access to dyno facility with wide band O2 sensor, some knowledge, and woala , you will be able to have a little fun tuning the Mini and testing your knowledge at the same time.

Make sure you don't go too extreme, or

Remind me of the old faithful B18C5 engine with V-AFC and tuned it on dyno.

Then after getting tired of playing with this, then its time for "Hydra EMS".
