EIM motorists extraordinaire and new MCS Roadster affectionados Denny and Sandy (densan57) are once again hosting our group at their home in Davenport for our February gathering! The date is Saturday, February 21.

We will meet at their residence in Davenport. Plan on arriving around 11:00 am. There is plenty of street parking available.

This is a potluck-supported lunch, so if you decide to bring a food or drink item to share with the group it would help us all out if you identify your item by posting a Reply in this Discussion Thread so others can see and plan accordingly.

We're also going to try something new at this event -- an EIM Swap Meet. Time to locate all of those those MINI parts, accessories, and related items that have been forever bouncing around your garage or storage room. Bring them along with you if you're interested in selling, trading, or simply giving them away to a good home.

Since we are having a swap meet I think I will post the crap i have to get rid of

I'm excited that an event finally landed on a weekend when both my wife and I are free, so we will both be there. I haven't made up my mind yet, but I'm thinking we will probably bring esquites.

 

Hope we have a good turnout and good weather for our February get together. Just a reminder that this is mostly a stand up and eat (or balance on your lap) situation, since we don't have table room for everyone. Maybe that will help in your decisions on what to bring to nosh on. We will provide some sort of sandwich and the drinks. Happy Motoring!

 

I'm planning on a stop at the Hy-Vee deli on my way there so I don't have to lug food from up here on the tundra. I have my eye on some wings, and hopefully a fruit pizza.

I was thinking I would bring my laptop and NCS Expert coding spreadsheet in case there are any brave souls that would want something tweaked in their MINI PCM. One-touch sunroof, throbbing alarm light, double hazard flash, etc..

 

Sadness here as we won't make this one. I am sure everyone will have a great time! I have my fingers crossed that the weather will be good for you all.

We had a great time. Thanks to all for the wonderful food array. We couldn't do it without all of you. We certainly missed the ones who couldn't attend, but congrats to Linda and Tom on a second place finish. Wonderful photos as usual, Gary. Can't wait til the next event.
