EIM Meet-n-Eat at the Wig and Pen Pub, Iowa City -- Jan 24

Our traditional first-of-the-year Meet-n-Eat is at the Wig and Pen Pub on the Coralville Strip in Iowa City on Saturday, January 24th. We'll congregate between 10:30 - 10:45 am at the restaurant (in the larger parking lot to the west of the building) with lunch planned for 11:00 am. This will be a great opportunity to share event ideas you may have for the upcoming motoring season.

Please RSVP by clicking the link in the EIM Event Calendar Entry (<--link) so we can give the restaurant a head count. You'll also find the restaurant contact info at this link.

They've accommodated separate checks in the past but it's always good to have cash on hand just in case.

You can follow us down. Depending on the weather we may make a stop at a car wash near the restaurant.

We will meet you probably at that car dealership at the intersection of 151 and 136. I will text you the week before with a time estimate.

Looks like "Laser Car Wash" I about a mile from Wig and Pen. Seems to be a decent car wash with several stalls available. Here is the address that I found for it:

Yep, that's my usual stop. If the roads are dry and the temp is in the neighborhood of freezing or above, I'll be there.

I can see that dealership from my house. And a carwash would be good for te MINIs. :D

I usually use the Westport Touchless Auto Wash at 2015 2nd Street. It's too cold for me to do it by hand in the winter!

Hi guys, Laura and sure hope ya'll enjoyed the day in Iowa City. I'm into my 3rd week since i had my left Knee replaced. As soon as i get back to using my left knee like normal, my plans are to go right back into the Hospital to have my right Knee changed out.
