We've met up at that Wendy's before. It's a good spot. There is a BP right next door too with restrooms/munchies/fuel.

 

To whet your appetite for DC MINI fun, how about breakfast where the "Best Breakfast in America" award was awarded?

White Gull Inn in Fish Creek. The stuffed cherry French toast won the best breakfast in America award. Mmmmmm

 

 

That sounds good for Fri, not gonna make it Thursday.

Perhaps another MINI adventure on the high seas is in order Are you up for it, Captain Cindy? With MINIs on board, maybe more than a water safety license would be required

 

She'd better bring along her bosun whistle, just in case...

 

As long as you aren't planning some sort of mutiny on the high seas, I am up for it!!

 

Then it's a done deal! Let this serve as notice to all: Mutiny is forbidden, loads of fun is not.

 

What would a trip to Door County be without seeting the goats?
Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant in Sister Bay is "the only restaurant in America with goats on the roof." (Really?????) The Roofing of the Goats parade takes place on May 11. Inquiries are being made to see if our 10 EIM MINIs can be part of that fun event. All we need are goofy hats. Anyone have a goofy hat?

 

According to the Sister Bay website, "Goat costumes, goatees, Viking hats, and other creative endeavors are encouraged."

Hmmmm....I seem to remember seeing a red, MINI-themed Viking hat somewhere recently...

Just packed the bag, Di is now packing hers...on the road in under 12 hrs!
The funny hat thing, Vikings? Now if they had said CUBS, I could do that, or even the Packers. But Vikings?

It is beautiful and we had lots of fun. We thought of you and Nora every day and hope she is on the mend.

 

Jan and I arrived home about 7 pm yesterday; hopped over to the Subie to ferry our daughter to Rochester and finally returned around 11 pm. Long day!
