Alas, I will not be able to attend this event either. I have yet another wedding that weekend in Davenport that I can not miss. I would really like to attend this one.

I know I can't meet at the Sonic. Depending on how my day goes and where Daryl takes the ride I may be able to meet up with the group later. Fingers crossed!

WR in 2 weeks

The Wild Ride will be held in two weeks. I don’t want to give too much away, but there are eight scheduled fun stops. One lucky winner will enjoy a special Wild Ride for One. We will meet for lunch at 11:00 at the Sonic, 560 33RD AVENUE SW, CEDAR RAPIDS, IA 52404. Take the 33rd Ave. exit from I 380. Please park facing 33rd Ave. We’ll head out on our Wild Ride about 11:30, and finish our adventure shortly after 4:00.

Don’t wear good shoes.

Hope to see you, soon!

This is sounding seriously wild. I can't decide if I should bring my Ninja walker or my magnum cane

Great! If we're on schedule, we'll be leaving Wild Location #2 and heading for Wild Location #3 in Central City.

Leo sends greetings to Gozer.

Thanks for organizing and hosting the Wonderful Wild Ride in the CR area! You planned a really fun event touring wild places we've wondered about, but never stopped for! And, several we didn't even know about like the llama farm.

Thanks for the treats, too!

You are very welcome! It was my pleasure, I assure you!

Here is a link to a few pics. I will be linking you to the aerial photos that you paid for, in a day or so.

Thanks for the pics Daryl -- and OBTW, thanks too for all of your creativity in planning and preparing today's drive, the nifty "I Love EIM" buttons, for leading us, for setting up the aerial photos, for setting up David's "wild ride," for the cooler full of "MINI pop," for creating and presenting us with the awesome MINI picture mats, for gifting us with the Culvers coupons...the list seems to go on and on. You really made the day special for everyone! Got to visit many fun new places today and see lots of MINI friends. Can't thank you enough!

Here's my contribution to the picture collection --

Check out the photo of Mike and Teresa's MINI at the horse stables (filename DSC02037) and see if you can answer the question in the picture caption...

Great fun Daryl! I was expecting a Wild Ride but not that WILD!
Thanks for all the planning. You crammed alot of stuff into a such short time...kudos!

I wanted to get my pix posted before I looked at the others. Sorry folks, but there are 93 of them and I weeded out some of the weaklings. And there are NO plucky captions either. Enjoy...

Love the panorama on the runway, and the following pic where it looks like the aircraft are joining our caravan.

And your pics provide important clues to the quiz question I posed previously.

Very Wild!

THANKS, Daryl, for a Wilde Tyme and all the surprises! Great job on the photos, guys! It was fun to see everyone and be back in the midst of things, albeit still moving slowly

Thanks Daryl... Pam and I had a great time. At one point I thought REDMINI should even sprout wings... Seemed to be the appropriate place/strip to do so.
