The inaugural 2011 event is our traditional first-of-the-year Meet-n-Eat at the Wig and Pen Pub in Iowa City. It will be held on Saturday, January 22nd. We plan to meet between 10:30 - 10:45 am at the restaurant (in the larger parking lot to the west of the building) with lunch planned for 11:00 am.

(Note that this is the Wig and Pen location next to the Vine on the Coralville Strip, NOT the one across from Regina HS.)

Feel free to invite all of your MINI friends. You can sign up using the link in our Event Calendar Entry, and if there are extras in your party you can post a reply in this thread so we'll have a good count.

How good are you at recognizing the different varieties of wheels on our MINIs? You may find out on January 22nd!

I'd think your attendance at all of our events would be a requirements of your new employer.

I've never been to Eastern Iowa before, but the trip looks simple enough. Put me down as a maybe.

IF there are any more available, would the 'Keeper of the Decals" bring a couple along, presuming you are going. I need one for the All4, maybe a spare.

It was great to see everyone. Thanks to Mike and Di for allowing us to drool all over their new Countryman. Thanks also to Miah and Britney for coming over from Des Moines, showing off the other Countryman, and bringing along the Bootgating coolers for everyone.
