Ask and you shall receive:

http://www.lightinsight.com/

For my part, it was the best $17.50 I've spent to-date on my MINI.

I wish I would have checked on this sooner. They say 2-3wks for delivery.
(watch out Smokin' Jo is getting on his soapbox)

I say "Are you serious?!" This day and age, with all of our technology,
2-3wks?. I could drive there and pick it up and be back 18 hours.
Heck, I'll send a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) and it should be back to me in 5-6 days. If they were to send it in an enevelope 3 days tops.

"It's my Lightinsight and I want it now!" (J.G. Wentworth commercial pun)

Maybe that caveat is just a worst case CYA. Keep delivery time expectations low and avoid complaint due to circumstances beyond their control. Might try calling them up and seeing if they can do a quick turn-around for you.

I don't seem to recall it taking a long time for mine to arrive, but that was a while ago -- before I became old and feeble.

Edit: Incidentally, I don't mind your soapbox. Gives me someone with whom to interact. It gets lonely hangin' out in this forum sometimes...

Speaking of soapboxes....I've had it with my city's methods of fixing potholes and street crack/crevices. I will write a detailed letter to the city explaining "their" inadequacies on road repair. I'll post it here when I'm done.

I ordered the lightinsight and added a comment stating that I need it by 5/12/10. And now we wait.....

Got a start on detailing Gozer's interior. Ran out of Armour All and am wondering what anyone else uses for the interior plastics like the dash, floor mats, etc.

I mostly use general cleaning wipes, and about every other time the pre-moistened Armor-All wipes in the plastic pop-top container (but just soap and H2O for the floor mats; the Armor-All makes them too slippery).

be careful with armor all it contains some level of alchol which long term will dry out vinyl

But just soap and water leaves them looking old and blah! I will try the Nero. Dang! I just received Hydro and Wheel Armour from them yesterday. Maybe I will have to purchase something more from them to justify the shipping, can't pay to ship just one item!

Yeah Armour is not good. It looks nice immediately but over time is not so great.

Ugh, I have a sinus infection and it sucks..it needs to go away now....

I was watching "Dangerous Drives" on Discovery (I think) and they were showcasing "The Million Dollar Hwy" in Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico, Route 550. It is truly an awesome road. Google it for pictures and videos. Maybe next year we could tackle it.

No -- this is NOT a video of TAZ during the Border Skirmish...

Truthfully, the good news is that the driver walked away from this incident and only two spectators were injured, neither seriously.

Pretty amazing!

I'd say they gave you a pretty darn good turn-around.

OK ok ....... Don't you think we can tell the difference between a Lightening Blue versus a Chili Red

I did notice one big difference....... this guy's MINI group didn't stop to go to his aide.

Nice pics Daryl...looks like you couldn't have dialed up nicer weather for your trip to the lakes. I really need to put that on my list of things to do. Hope everyone had a great time.

It was sure nice of you to serve drinks for all of the boats on the lake.

It looks like someone found the key to the free MINI Cooper being given away by Our Iowa Magazine -- check out my post on our website:

http://www.easterniowaminis.org/our-...has-been-found

As I correctly predicted, it was found out in western Iowa (but not quite as far to the southwest as I might have imagined).

Gosh, when we were looking under the tables at Ledges State Park during the Iowa Fall Tour last October we were only two counties off!

Larry shared links to the Willis Auto Campus photo/video record of the Corridor Premiere Event via email...

Here's the link to their Facebook photos:
