Sounds like it has more to do with the E-Throttle than the clutch. 2/3 torque and all that, not sure what it means. Unless the clutch wasn't properly broken in your clutch shouldn't be slipping. Stick the car in 5th or 6th at 55-65 mph and slam the gas to the floor, if there's hesititation, your clutch is toasted, if it catches right away and starts accelerating, it's fine. You can also try putting the car in first and letting the gas out slowly. If the clutch is on it's way out the car may not die when you let it out. Do you have a CEL on or you just randomly pulled a code .

The CEL was on before I pulled the code. The clutch grabs fine and is smooth. I'm guessing the code is old because it have been on for over a week now. When clutch was first installed it had a bit of oil on it, but was cleaned with solvents, and reinstalled. The clutch did slip a tiny bit in third under load but that problem seemed to burn away.

Clear it and check again in a week or two. You're probably right.

On a tangent. Do our cars actually throw codes when the clutch is slipping and needs replacement? That's sorta cool .
