Drivetrain DynoJet Data Viewing Software for Mac?
DynoJet Data Viewing Software for Mac?
Does this animal exist?
I had my car dyno'd for three pulls today and I can't see the results. Printer was busted at the shop I had the work done.
The DynoJet software from their site is for Windows and I've got a Mac at home.
What does the raw data look like? Is it an ASCII data file that can be spewed into Excel?
I am likely to get a Fireball Flash tomorrow so I wanted a baseline to show some before and after charts.
Thanks for your help.

That is actually the plan; once Leopard is released, that is.
I'm about ready to take the step from a 1st gen 12" Powerbook to an 8 core Mac pro
. I was going to wait for Leopard too but since I need to buy a copy for my other computers anyway, that argument doesn't really have any weight anymore.
Oh, and back to the main question, I don't think there's a Mac compatible software for reading your dyno.

I have a G4/400 and 10.2.8 is getting old. Good thought about the multiple computers upgrade, will Apple let you do that?
And back to the main question, I am getting that feeling also, that Mac users are left out. But the guy I worked with at DRS said there should be a Mac version so.....
As a minimum though, once I see the data file, I can determine whether or not I can do something with the numbers.

Any new Intel generation Mac can run Parallels software that lets you switch over in real time from Windows to OS X and vice-versa...
No need to wait for Leopard unless you really just want to have the latest and greatest Mac OS.

I have the G5 Power Mac and the G5 iMac, but with not with the Intel chips.
My new MacBook (Intel) uses the Parallels software I bought at the local Apple store, and it shifts over to Windows just fine. No need to boot up in Boot Camp.
If fact, being able to use some types of dedicated Windows programs is the reason I bought it.
Don't need it for the more widely used programs.

Bootcamp schmootcamp. Run Parallels, a much better option.
You don't need Leopard for it and Leopard just got bumped back to October

Have you tried BBedit or Graphic Converter?

Could somebody volunteer to make an image file of my dyno runs? Just put the three runs together on one plot showing HP, Torque, and AFR.
I will then post the data on the dyno chart thread.
Thanks.
