Ok, I got 14 months out of my tires. Is that good or bad for time to replace the tires? Only have about 35000 on the engine. These are the BF Goodrich G-force sports tires non run flats.

Google "Tire Rack" and look through their info. They have most tires available for the Mini, and tell just about everything there is to know about them including performance tests and durability ratings.

With tires there are so many factors. Do you care about wet performance? Snow? How do you, personally, value braking performance vs cornering? How much do weight of the tire, diameter, and other dimensions matter?

You have to consider your personal desires and driving conditions and check it out yourself to make the best decision for you.

Also, go to the tires and wheels forum here to see others' experiences and recommendations. The last time I bought, I was looking for improved dry performance and lower price. I got Kumho Ecstas. I'm happy with the performance on the street, but I know they will not last as long as some others. There are always tradeoffs.
