It would take a pretty darn good dyno to detect that tiny increase. Could have been a humidity change too you know. But you too can get that .6hp increase for only $70.00.
The ITG filter that I installed gave better throttle response and gas mileage rather than raw power. If that's what you are after, prepare to spend at least a couple hundred on an intake. I love my ITG though. The difference was well worth it to me.
K&N and other similar filters not only provide in most cases a mild increase in power, but many people buy them also because they are 'permanent', meaning they can be cleaned and reinstalled rather than tossed out when dirty. Over time, the cost of such filters offsets having to buy and discard several paper element filters.
