Drivetrain Brake pad replacement tip for the rear caliper
Well the brakes are now properly installed.
After looking at the image provided by AutoXCooper I finally saw the differences. The caliper piston has a groove where each of the springs seat into. When properly secured the pad will/should remain in place.
I also re-installed the wear senor as well as reseated the connector above the jack position location. The warning light was still illuminated
after finishing up last night at 7:00pm, test drove the buggy and no indication of drag restrictions or sounds of pads rubbing the rotor.
The brake wear warning light is not illuminated, it went out sometime during my morning commute....so all is well in my mini world....thanks to everyone for their inputs that could have cost me $$$$.

Ya, what a great feeling
....true satisfaction was achieved when test driving the buggy with no rubbing sounds no unusual noises when applying the brakes..... I am suprised that the Hayes manual has no mention of the inner pad securing springs
would have saved me alot of stress
Again, thanks to the wisdom of all who respond to my plea for help.
This site rocks!!!!!
