what can you do or seen (program wise) with

1) a stock MCS
2) basic mods - 15 pulley/cai/catback?

Just trying to get a base understanding. This car is heavily mod so I am having problems getting a sense of the 30+ gain.

How much is said program?

Understanding flow maps...

I know it's been posted before, but here's a link: http://www.automotivearticles.com/Turbo_Selection.shtml

Congrats for an outstanding tune! Do you know what the peak torque was prior to the tune? Did the ecu tune alter the nature of the torque peak (earlier in the curve)? Great job!

Just from following CmdrVines other threads, I think it's the LDG head and the ECU tune that got the 30+ gain.

what kind of dyno is that? where does it fall compared to others? those are great numbers but with so many stles of dynos it gets confusing.

good numbers. Ultimately when you tweek for max performance the concern needs to be AFR. Looks like you guys were able to get a nice flat result there. And if I assume correctly those are post-cat AFR's so adjusting ~1 for that gets you below 11.5 for the entire range. Nice.

From stock to 190whp was the pulley, intake, cylinder head, exhaust header, injectors, cam.

From 190whp to 223whp was the tune.

What you also have to understand is that full potential of the head is taken advantage of with the ECU tune. That is another reason why the change was so drastic with the ECU tune. At least from what I have gathered... I don't doubt the numbers as you have a nice set of mods. People just don't know exactly how much power can be had from a REAL ECU tune done on the dyno. Once again, congrats!

And, LDG, how much for a custom tune?

EDIT: stock intercooler I suppose correct? Have you considered meth/water injection?

Wow, I pulled 193.5WHP with the following two weeks ago:

15%
Alta CAI
DT Bypass valve
OBX header
Milltek
DFIC w/AeroGel Mat
Stock ECU
Stock Head

My new head should be done this week (specs soon). The custom cam with adjustable cam gear are done. The custom header, designed to match the flow of the head, starts later this week. The new 3" exhaust in about two weeks. The new ECU tune (more info later) should be here in about three weeks.

The first Dyno was to give a base. We (my tuner and myself) will be doing Dyno pulls after each mod along the way and will show it all soon. Good or bad.
