I am curious as to how many of these bad boys are menacing the streets?

 

My guess is about 30 or so Twincharged Monsters and about 8 Turbo-Only Beasts (running or being worked on)...

 

I want to be Twin-Charged...

 

I have no idea how many are out there..... seems like a small number but now that I think of it that might be high.....

anyone know?

what would also be nice to know as what are the dyno numbers? I think helix posts 260-265.... Tuls is some ungodly number as well as "he who shall not be named"

The Mule was Helix TurboKompressor installed, and I have done half a dozen or so here - typical numbers are 265+. The Mule was a hair over 300 at the wheels. I know Eric has done quite a few in Philly as well.

Don't know the number on units done in Phoenix or Alta "Twurbo" kits...

I got to drive a twincharged Mini with the SPi kit on it about 8 months ago. I have no idea what whp it made, but it was impressive - damn impressive.

Bob - try to see if someone in your general area has one and take it for a spin. It may surprise you how much you like it.

 

I thought I had, but now I'm not sure - the deal is shakey (see the for sale section...)

I know that there are over 30+ of the "SPI" kit in the states as of about two years ago.. and possibly close to 10 overseas...

as for turbo only the #s are still mounting... I know of prolly 8-10.. but there's prolly more that we don't hear about

ummm.....5 to the....left.....and I am sure it will be worth every penny. To be honest that price includes much more than just the turbo kit....that was only 4 digits.....hehehe

 

and here i am looking for a deal on slotted rotors ...... jeeesus i'm pathetic gonna go eat a bullit now later .

 

Not pathetic. Just different priorities in life. I waited 3 years to get my MINI, and 2 years to do this. All things in due time....
