Magna Flow questions...

I'm going to return the Palo Uber exhaust because I don't want to have the rear Aero bumper messed with. Anyway, I think I've decided on Magna Flow. Where can I get the best price? Their web site is showing over $1K for the system! Gotta be a better price somewhere.

Is this for an MCS or MC?

Magnaflow is loud. Do you have an upgraded header? Make sure you have one with a cat. If you use a header with no cat it will be really loud. Stock header will work just fine.

I have the Magna Flow Exhaust and I love it. It's not as loud as some might think. I also don't have the headers so it's still not very loud but rather it's just perfect.

By the way, hello to everyone here. I'm new to this foum and just trying to get to know everyone and my way around here.

Take a closer look /ask a few more questions

I don't know about the most recent iteration of Magnaflow, but the ealier MCS versions had quite a bit of side-play... This combined with the 'Flow's large diameter horns and Aero bumper-cover caused unintended "modding"... chipping away paint & plastic. Is the same true for the new/er?

BTW
I still have my 'flow. I haven't cured the PITA side-play Aero-kit marring problem... Its just that I've grown so accustomed to the sound, looks & whatever performance gain it might afford (I've had it on since day 1) that I can't imagine my MINI without it.

I've heard the Magnaflow on a modded MCS and it was fine with a stock header.

The other really nice option is the Borla Race dual exhaust for the MCS.

Both are nice, Magnaflow is louder of the two but the Race Borla is no wimp- it's louder than the Borla street version.
