Nope! We're all waiting for Mikehome1 to spill the beans on this one, since he's hosting the location.

Technical Q: what kind of hardware is Randy bringing? I can't imagine him going to the airport and checking his tools and floorjack! Is this something that Mike is also supplying?

Cheers,
Ryan

Pulley install location is off I 71 near KIng's Island. We'll be borrowing tools, and renting. When Randy gets his tool list together I'll be contacting Cincinnati Mini owners and friends for loaners.
There is no reason to go through directions to the install site yet.I'm a homebuiler and unfortunately own two completed and unsold houses in two different subdivisions near King's Island. If we sell one,the pulley install will be in the "other" garage. As the date approaches,Randy will start scheduling and all committed owners will be notified.
Then most likely site is a subdivision near the intersection of Montgomery and Fields Ertel Roads.
Don't let the lack of an address hold you back.If you are a definite contact Randy or Me(preferably both) Mike

I'm so there.

King's Island, you bet Ryephile! My favorite place as a child, - it'll be some 20+ years since.

mikehome1, I'd be happy to bring something to help out. Just give me a shout!

GOOD NEWS...BAD NEWS
We are over subscribed on the Great Southern Ohio Pulley Mod
Randy can do a max of 7 pulleys a day.We have 16 reservations.
Randy has agreed to stay most of the day Sunday June 15.Randy is satisfied with 16,but could possibly do 5 additional pulleys. If you want to be a part of this s... or get off the pot.

so basically we need a few more people in order to obtain Randy's services for all of Sunday, gotcha. Cincinnati is so central to everything, there's bound to be a few more MCS owners itching for a high-value 20HP!

-->Sugarbelly, I've never been to King's Island, but always wanted to go!

MGCMAN has an extra ticket to the INDY fomula 1 race on Sunday June 15.He has been kind enough to offer it to one of his fellow pulley attendees. We haven't figured out how to award it,as we have only one. We'll start collecting names of those interested and figure out a way to justly award it.Thanks MGCMAN

Everyone should realize that that INDY F1 ticket was probably for Randy before he agreed to do the extra pulleys on Sunday. Pretty damn cool of him in my book.

I trust everyone that ,at this point, reached a firm decision on the pulley mod has PMed me.WE are getting close to filling our recently added third day.Randy wants to accomodate all of us power hungry midwesterners, hence the addition of the third day.
I've seen a number of names on this thread, that haven't committed. We can only take a max of 4 or 5 additional cars.

after my roadtrip to the sand-dunes this weekend, I'm defintely itching to get the pulley. I could use the extra passing power on the interstate. I get major lazy on the interstate, so not having to shift is a major plus. With the pulley adding typically 18HP and 22lb-ft, this is definitely the extra boost needed (pun!) to keep my inner HP-***** satisfied

Cheers,
Ryan

The extra ticket I have for June 15th is an opportunity to drive your own car on the Formula 1 track at Indy. IMS is opening the track for car clubs and individuals who have purchased four or more tickets for the F-1 race in September. You get to drive around the track, in your MINI or other car. It is for Sunday afternoon, and I'm making it available to someone in the Pulley Install group.

Bah! I can handle as many as you can bring (oh, wait, that was just my testosterone level speaking - maybe I should leave the planning to you after all Mike).

I will be calling everyone to start the scheduling this week. I need to start the puleys at 8:00 and then shcedule one every hour and a half from there. I'd like to do at least six per day.

Talk to you soon!

Randy

PS: I need phone numbers from Tim J (Tjaug), Tom G, and Sugarbelly. Thanks!

DOH! How did you find out about my Parole?! Did my officer sneak a PM to you?

Hey Mike, I know I've already asked it, but what's the best (value) hotel nearby your place? OR, who has already booked rooms, and where (so we can all hang out together!)

Cheers,
Ryan-The-Criminal

sweet, thanks Mike.

Anyone interested in sharing a room for the weekend? I don't bite, snore, or sleepwalk, but have been known to have short conversations to myself in my sleep

...and oh yea, you'll have to share a bed with my Parole Officer...just kidding!

If 1030 Saturday is taken, I will take the noon or 130pm.

Slot me in one of those, I need to be back to Louisville by 5-6 pm.

Thanks,
Webb

Based on our earlier conversations, since I'm doing the ECU and pulley I will likely need an early slot. I get in late Friday and will be around on Saturday and heading home that night. Do you already have me blocked in for a time Saturday am?
