Drivetrain WEBB Still around?
Not to throw fuel on the fire but I, too, haven't gotten any replies to my emails. I'm still holding out though; he makes good products. I do not know what his flying schedule is and he is a one-man shop at the moment.
They don't really carry much that you can't get elsewhere....if you want customer service, its probably better to look elsewhere.
Randy was a new MINI pioneer and wrote many of the first DIY project threads here on NAM (first known as MCO) with Dave photographing the process. Perhaps things are slow due to the holiday season?

Unfortunately, Webb seems to have spread himself a little too thin. He offers a lot of great things, from pulley parties, part reviews, DIY instructions....as well as participating in motorsport events and at the same time, trying to run a parts buisness for two different car brands (mini and elise) that I imagine have been pretty busy (doing well, but busy).
Randy has gone back to flying commercial, and has taken over the operations of the store. Racing has been ditched. Please give him the time to respond before bashing. He really has done a lot for the MINI community.
One of the users, who often represents webb motorsports, has been online since this post was made....and he had the time to make a post bashing another vendor
but has yet to post in herehttps://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/1282125-post229.html
with that said...randy has offered more than nearly anyone else in the mini community. And i by no means mean to bash him. But i will stand by the statement that if you are looking for customer service where your calls are returned immediately....webb is not the place to go. If you are willing to order your parts and wait for the nice boxman to deliver in a timely fashion without making/recieving any calls....go ahead and order webb
Sorry....i just found this while surfing through NAM, and found it ironic since you just mentioned bashing.

I'm sorry for stating that you represent them still since it does not seem to be the case any longer. I didnt know.
I don't know Randy personally, but he seems to be the type of individual that likes to be involved in too many things at the same time. I can tell he has a brilliant mind and that may and may not work to his advantage.
When you own a business you have to take care of it and be totally upfront in its day to day happenings. People may love you, like you and respect you, but when it comes to handling people's money and fulfilling their expectations for customer service, it is a totally different matter. I have seen successful businesses go down the toilet just because the owner di dnot want to get involved in the nitty gritty details and handled over the control and operation to total strangers.
I guess my advice for Randy is to stick to one thing and do it well. If you are going to be a full time airline pilot, then do that, or if you are going to be a full time racer, do that or if you want to get fully involved with your business then do that, but avoid spreading yourself too thin because all you will accomplish is health problems, undue stress and upset customers.
It is hard for a business to survive when customer's calls or emails are replied to weeks or months after the fact. Your reputation has earned you a spot of trust and respect in the MINI community, but do keep in mind that Webb Motorsports is not anymore the only game in town.
Cheers.

It has been repeatedly proven by the hens here that Randy purposely ignores his customers because he is the spawn of Satan. It has been proven as part of a larger Al-Qaeda plot specifically targeting the Mini community.
Nice try.
I agree wholeheartedly with C4. Randy should either be the Spawn of Satan, a dastardly tool of Osama bin Laden, an Airline Pilot or a **** King - however, not all at once.
I heard he's performing his donkey and mule act in a Tijuana strip club under the name El Verga Loco.

A **** King that has a MINI. That could so easily be taken the wrong way.

. Lets keep this thread a little on-topic. There really isn't much more to discuss until one of us hears from Randy or he posts an update.
