Anyone know of a domestic source for a large core aluminum radiator (high performance/capacity) to fit an April 04 MCS?!?
Having leak issues...I already have an aluminum resevoir & my tech says if the problem's not hose or connector leaks, radiator repair is usually NOT an option due to BMW's design. Being fairly heavily modded (see "garage" link on sig), I thought an upgrade might be in order. I know MMania had one in their 05 catalogue, but no longer. Ebay had a link for a Nissens @ $190.46 & a "Performance" from Kaiser @ $199, but I suspect both are pretty much comparable to the OEM. Would like to avoid overseas tariffs if possible but any clever ideas would be appreciated!
Thanx! Bill

i know of several good shops here in Detroit that could make you one in the 200-300 range. it all depends on the options and how thick you want it. they would also need a core to use to take measurements to build your new one. i am sure you could find a place near you, take them your rad. and say make me an alum one that is this thick and has this. normally they could have what you need in a week. let me know if you need any help.

I talked with someone at PWR in the summer. It's for the MC not the MCS. Originally Posted by UKSUV
