I have a Rogue system for my Cooper S.

When I fitted it, it touch the bodywork in two places and I had to remove the lower part of the rear fender.

The main problem, however, is the low frequency noise inside the car at 3,000 to 4,000 rpm.

Currently i've removed the system but would be interested in any suggested solutions. :???:

The thing keeps coming loose at the slip joint. It has the wide band type clamp.I have to retighten about every three months.I have thought about trying to find someone to weld it.I have tightened it as much as possible but still works loose after a while.

I'd try putin some Lock TIght on the bolt that hold the clamp together. That might help your situation

cut a slit in the outside tube so it can squeeze down when clamped; about the width of the clamp band

I think the clamp streaches ,not the bolt coming loose.Has anyone had their stainless welded?I think it takes a TIG welder.

After tightening the bolt flatten a couple of threads to prevent the bolt from turning. This won't prevent you from taking the bolt off later.

I have a rogue that I bought used form CSBRGMINI. I have not installed it yet. I am waiting for my break-in to be complete before I install it. It has been welded into one piece and CSBRGMINI says it worked out great. Don't know where he had it welded.
