I doubt that this will stay on the open-access site for long.

Diagnostic mode switch

I doubt this is real. Too many spelling mistakes. And how many hands do you need to perform something like that?

Using a highly scientific technique (I tilted the plasma screen on my laptop forward so things got all discolored and stuff) I have decided this is a fake.

The MINI letterhead is cut and pasted onto the page, that's certain - because there is a line between it and the body of the paper. What I can't figure out, however, is what is under this. It looks like something else was origionally on this page or something. When I tilted the monitor forward a lot of shadow-typing was visible on the screen. Anyone else with a plasma screen should check this out I don't know what it means.

Anyone care to confirm this?

It's actually possible to hit the switches if you take off your shoe and hold the
window switch with your big toe, but it didn't do anything on my 02/02 Cooper.

Maybe it's TOO early a build date?

And the link still works for me even if I clear my cache.

A bit late on this one, but check out the date of the release. I was fooled for a minute there

I see all the same stuff. My guess is that he scanned the page - but his scanner has residual ink on the glass from previous scans. Just a guess. It generally is not considered good form to try to make up information and post it on a forum where we try to share useful information.

   I hate people who do that. After taking a closer look ( I only quickly glanced at the first one) it is definately homemade.
