belt issues..

Hello,
I have a 05 MCS with 15% +2% and i just bought a gatorback to match just in case and now all i get is belt squeal its not a schreech but more like a never ending annoying chirp and i talked to my mechanic and he said i "glossed" the new belt and thats why its slippin .. I can tell its slipping because im loosing power, and i know im loosing power threw various tests i have put my car threw. Im pretty sure i bought the right gatorback and now im going to try and order a JCW belt and see how that goes... but i just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this and has a fix?

Thanks,
Jm

Well then, you should be able to provide the part number to confirm that.
Glazed belt is a slipping belt caused by;
1. Belt to long
2. Contaminated belt or pulleys
3. Malfunctioning tension system

It sure isn't the Brand of belt causing your problem.
