AGS on a daily driver

how loud would an M7 AGS with the heat shield be on a daily driver?

is the larger tb real necessary?

would it be better to go with a ddm HDI?

thanks
Jonathan

I think the AGS would be fine on a daily driver.
I'll have one soon on mine, but i'm going to modify it to put the TB in the stock location.

There are a few threads about the larger TB, try a search.

Of the intakes, the AGS tends to be the quietest IN CABIN because it has been moved so far forward away from the driver. The other intakes are RIGHT in front of the driver up by the cowl.

It won't be that much longer when I get done. I want the flow of the "sewer pipe" AGS tube, but be able to keep my intake setup (soon to have a hood scoop).
With the AGS "as delivered" you can only use it that way, but it will probably make more power like that than the way I will set it up.

couple of months ago I was in the same position you are in. Thank god I went with the AGS. I'm not saying that the DDM is not good, I'm just saying that the sound of the AGS is great. From the cabin the noise level is ok... you can hear the S/C whine but not as loud as people from the out side will hear it. It is not until I stepped outside the car and let my friend rev it a little that I understood how loud. M7 products are really great and the AGS is the best complement. As for the TB, well, I'm pretty sure that there are alot more people with experience in that field than me, but depending on your mini mods and if it is not heavily modified then you would probably don't need it now. In any case, please refer to Peter from M7. He will be of great assistance to you than I am... if you would like, I can send you a clip of a run I did with the AGS on and you will understand how it sounds (GREAT )
the file is in 3GPP format (quick time player)

cheers and good luck
