Drivetrain FL group pulley install
#1
We are organizing a FL pulley installation weekend to include track time in the West Palm Beach area (Moroso). I would like to get responses from folks who may be interested in participating (the track time would be optional of course).
We are looking at some time in May, so let me know what dates would work.
The install runs $400 to include the pulley. I am starting to use a new pulley design as well that is slightly better.
Hope to see all of my East Coast buds soon!

Greetings Randy !!
You are welcome to Florida anytime, especially the W. Palm Beach area. I'm just north in Stuart. I am sure that you will have the FL MINIs lined up for this one!!!! How about the middle of May ??? I am leaving for North Carolina on May 23rd. At $400.00 I can't pass up the pulley conversion!! I am really looking forward to a little more bottom end torque.
Let me know when you will be in town and I would be happy to volunteer some organizational help - and document the event with some professional quality digital photography. (Former USAF photog !!
Best Regards,
Ron

OK, it looks like it is for sure. I already have four lined up. I'll be doing it in May, and the weekend of the 17th is what I have tentatively scheduled. How does that work?
We still need to check the track availability. If you guys could post your interest too - pulley install only, track day only, or both.
Thanks!
Randy

I could do the other stuff, but it is VERY helpful to have a compressor and air tools. The problem is, the more stuff I agree to do, the more I have to ship down for tools, and it starts getting pricey.
We could do a swaybar and springs, heck we could do just about anything, but the cost of doing it without air and the shipping of the tools would be more than if I did it here at the shop in Denver. As this gets organized, I may be able to do things with other tools that have been secured down there.
Let me know what you're interested in having done so I know what I need to bring.

Ah poo. I'm missing out on all the good stuff (group sway bar purchase and now a fl pulley meet thing) since I dont have my S yet. But that's amazing, a shop owner going half way across the country to install parts and do a track day!
I used to live in Jupiter, Fl about 30 minutes away from West Palm, then I moved back up north to Orange Park. Oh well at least when I can order my S then I can just drive over to Tom Bush.

You can easily do the airbox mod, do you have the intake yet? You will have to have an aftermarket intake for it to really make any improvement. If you do the ALTA, it already removes the partition.
OK, if you want that done, I ned to bring the hole saw and drill too. Anyone have a big rig??
