I'm sorry to say I've got to be away from FL the entire month of May, wouldn't you just know it!
Anyway, I'm in the market for a pulley upgrade too.
I was wondering this; Will you be leaving any of your "pulley knowledge" here in FL with other local mechanics?

In other words do you know of any local mechanics that will be helping you out or learning how to do this mod? ...or attending a "Randy Seminar" on pulley installs?

I would gladly drive across the state to the east coast to have an install done by someone that knows what they are doing as opposed to walking into my local garage with my pulley in hand and trying to explain what I want done.

How would it be for you guys if we picked it up a bit and did it this month? Just throwing around dates to see what works.

I am thinking of flying in on the 25th, do the installs through the weekend (and into Monday and Tuesday if need be), then heading out. I don't know if we will be able to get the track time scheduled that soon though.

What do you think?

I'm booked 4-26/27 ! If I can't do April will you be back this way later ??????????? Did the price include track time for the quoted fee.
What if we don't have track time available? Price change ?? Sounds like you are going to be very busy installing pulleys. How will track time fit into your schedule??

I just dropped you a private e-mail to let you know I can definitely make the April 25th weekend pulley install in West Palm if you can schedule me in.
I just noticed some of the guys are requesting specific days or times.
If it helps I am completely open to any time you have available as I do not leave for work until May 1st. So you could move me around to any time that suits you and that would be fine with me.
Hope this helps out, and please count Yfoiler in! (Marty).

BTW, can I bring anything that may be to heavy that you don't want to ship? Floor racing jack for example? Jackstands? Just let me know.

I would almost certainly make a May date but next weekend is too soon for me. I am over three hours away so need to rearrange a few things to make the trip.

Randy for me any day except the 26th is good for me. I have a cheerleading compitition to attend with my daughter and a car show that morning. Any other day is good for me. Did you get with MINIBEAST and figure out the shop dates?? Now with the change of dates I don't know what will happen. Please PM him and find out what he can do if anything. Could you be tempted to come to Hilton Head Island, SC? Any others in the Southeast that would be up for that? Roebling Road Raceway is 45 minutes away in Savannah, GA.

I knew I should have checked this thread over the weekend! I have shop time cleared for the 18th of May (Sunday) if your still interested. (Saturday we're booked with a Porsche event.) We have all the neccesary tools for the install (excepting the pulley extracting unit they've been selling on Mini Mania!)
I'm afraid I'll be leaving town this week until the 6th of May so I'm a no go for this coming weekend.

OK, it looks like we have enough folks to firm up the date relatively. We will also probably have it in two separate locations. I plan on staying for a few days to make sure everyone can get their's done.

May 16, 17 and 18th (and the 19th if necessary).

It appears that we will only have the full shop on the 18th, so I still may need a jack and some stands for the other days. Also, anyone that wants more than the pulley, we'll have to schedule for the 18th when we can use the full shop facilities.

The 16 and 17th will be in Boynton, while the 18th at the shop (Foreign Affairs) is in Deerfield I think - I know it's farther south.

Just start calling me so I can take down your info - I've been getting 40+ e-mails a day, and I don't want to lose anyone.
