Drivetrain Kinky Cooper Torque Curve
If you've driven an MC hard or viewed a dyno plot, you know what I'm talking about. There is a pronouced dip then surge of torque as you approach 4k rpm. Kind of fun to work with in 3rd gear and up, but a little too abrupt at wide open throttle in 1st and 2nd, when the engine has a lot of leverage.
Seems like it would be a huge improvement to fill in this kink and maintain flat or slightly increased torque between 3-4k.
Isn't this just a software issue or are there "physical" reasons for this dip in torque?
Has it already been addressed in a factory software update or ECU upgrade?
