Are your Milltek tips even?

I had my Milltek catback installed on my MCS last week. I later noticed that the inside piece of the tips are not even. Is anyone experiencing similar asymmetry with his/her Milltek exhaust? Is this normal? I would like to hear what you guys think.

amg6975: My left side is similar to yours but my right side has the inside piece placed deeper into the tip.

So you guys think that the 0.5+ cm difference in the gap is typical, don't you? I expected a better quality from seeing the pictures and reading about the build quality of Milltek catback.

There's something unseemly about this thread. Or maybe it's just my deviant mind.

Barely noticeable from the angle, but mine look pretty even to me...

I wouldn't be too happy about that.

Mine are way off compared to yours!!! I'd love to know how to fix them, but until I get my aero kit, I'm not too worried about it.

The left side usually hangs lower than the right

Ohh, I see what you're saying now. That sucks. I would contact Stratosphere (sp) and tell them about it and send them that pic. They may tell you to deal with it but they may send you a new one... ya never know.

PS. on a side note, does anyone else have ratteling issues with the drives side attached hanger and the stock hanger mounted on the body? When I first put mine on it was wayyyy too high up and was warping the plastic of the bumper from pressure. I bent the stock hangers a bit to get it off the bumper and now they rattle and I can't seem to bend the hanger that's attached to the driver side muffler. I'll get it in the air and do it eventually but just wondering if anyone else had that fitment issue?

Update

Thanks for your opinions, guys. I'm getting a replacement exhaust from Stratmosphere. I will post the new picture once it is installed.

New rear section

Here is the picture of the tips of my new rear section. (I only had the rear part replaced.) Finally the exhaust tips are even as they should be. Now I am happy with the appearance of my car. jymontoya, perhaps you could contact Stratmosphere or the shop you bought your Milltek from. Good luck.
