Promini Cam

I just found these on Halfmoon's website. Has anyone used these cams?

Well considering they seem to be ground to specification I would consider them a deal. Much better option than shrick considering you can go as large as 280/280. Well for the guys out there not worried about a sloppy idle.

Has anyone ever tried a cam with that much duration and stock ECU? Will it even idle?

Well I will probably be ordering one. But my car isn't exactly stock... So it would be irrelevant. But Im sure with a little bit of tweaking with a piggyback it shouldn't be a problem.

I have heard of two people using that cam with a P&P Head but had very poor luck because the the Promini cam started to break down. I have Shrick right now and have had them in my M3. I would only go with Shrick if they made a bigger cam. I guess a bigger cam would ony be good on the top end, I worry about the bottom since these cars are such slugs off the line..

Try driving one without a supercharger. No power till 4500.
