I'm thinking about a new clutch and lighten flywheel. What is the average in labor I should pay? I may want to do a LSD while I'm there.

Keep on posting!!!!!!

At this rate, the next one will be at $150.00...

BTW, Mario you are the man . It seems that every time I look in the forum you post about doing something else to the car and a week later it's done and "street tested". That is some modding bug! At this rate you'll have one of those Fireballed! monsters with 500 hp and "900 vhp" within six months .

Thank you, but I think the money is starting run out. I would like to do the lighten flywheel and clutch but I was talking to fireballed and I might just wait and do everything at one time. Turbo, LSD, clutch, flyweel and labor all together. I'm guessing somewhere around 9k for eveything.
I really need to focus some love to my MB E55.
It looks like you have several mods yourself!

I would do it for you, but you live to far away. I could do it pretty quick. find a manual for mini, they will actually tell you how to do it and you wont have to pay anyone.

Yes but if you don't have a tranny jack it is quite fun lifting it by hand. If you do it by yourself then make sure you use red lock tight on everything.

haha I always drop it on my jack, roll it just far enough away and make sure it doesnt fall off. I had to do it plenty of times with the crx. seemed like everytime I fixed something I found a new problem :impatient

Hahaha... A CRX tranny is a paper weight compared to the Getrag. I assuming you mean a d15 tranny.

haha yes the d15

its small but my method doesnt require lifting it so it shouldnt be a problem for the getrag.. I actually have had more problems on a lift than on the ground. (long story short equipment malfunctions )

I also done the jeeps clutch, my sisters mini clutch, mustang clutch, and some random saturn in autotech haha.

I will say for the hassel of doing it the labor fees are definatly acurate. clutches are a pain

spillman, you realize that you would have to drive out to california to install his clutch for 300... you would probably spend more on gas!
