Hi everyone,

This is my first post here. Although I have been here for months reading everything I could.

I am wanting to get the pulley mod done to my 03 MCS, does anyone know of a shop in Indianapolis that has done this? I dont want mine to be the test car for a shop. Also I am wanting to get the Magnaflow exhaust. I was wondering if anyone in the Indianapolis area has it and would mind giving a fellow motorer a drive so I can hear it.

This site is great thanks,

mikehome1,
Come on up to Columbus, just east of the Columbus Zoo. Auto Assets, in Powell has done the pulley, springs, and more on my MCS. They have a great shop, are dealers for Mini Madness and others, and build and prep race cars. Give Tony Rondon or Chip Vance a call at 614-793-1050. Tell them Randy with the Black Mini S suggested you call.

I know this is a haul, but in the Chicago area I would recommend Perfect Power. You can give Sol a PM at perfpow.

Let me know if I can help with anything else.

BTW, I just did the install on the pulley using the "shorter" method, and while it's a little more risky, it definitely saves a lot of time and tinkering. If you have any questions during your install timj1231, feel free to give me a call.

Hey Randy,

I have been to minimotorsport.com and read the pulley install color photo instructions, which by the way is great. Is that instruction write up the "shorter" method. If not is there a link to instructions or another thread where this was discussed?

Thanks again.....

My friend Scott works at Auto Assets. He is a really knowledgable guy and has the Best Mk2 golf in the states.

yorkddx,

Welcome to MCO!! I didn't do that earlier.

The method in the how-to is the longer route. I will be doing a how to on the shorter method when I have a camera next week. I did this last one all alone, and I don't have a digital camera (I know, I'm a loser for not joining the 21st century yet).
